Mike, Steve, Wayne and Elaine dived this year with Lynda as shore cover. Not as busy as previous years but very enjoyable even though I got fairly wet! Have to concede I need a new drysuit! The water was a balmy 10 degrees, the visibility quite good on the far side at the Candida, the first dive being a twilight dive, getting to see most if not all of the Sturgeons on both dives. Thought we'd lost Steve at the sump at one point with it being a little murky but having your torch does help to relocate a lost buddy. After a spot of refreshments in the café and a few handfuls of Parkin (Steve) we had our second dive and then back in the café to enjoy a hot drink and watch the fireworks. A good night and a great safe experience for a night dive particularly for new trainees. Looking forward to the 2020 Fireworks and hopefully a lot drier diving!
